What You’ll Do:


Position Summary


We are seeking a driven and technically proficient individual to lead business development efforts in the industrial wastewater market. This role is responsible for promoting and selling aeration systems (grids, blowers, controls) and STS packaged treatment plants to end-users, engineering firms, and channel partners. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of technical acumen, solution selling, and territory management experience.


Key Responsibilities


•Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share in the industrial wastewater sector

•Identify, develop, and manage relationships with:

•Engineering consultants and system designers

•Industrial end-users (e.g., food processors, wineries, manufacturers)

•Manufacturer reps and distribution partners

•Lead technical sales of aeration systems, including diffuser grids, blower packages, and control systems

•Promote and quote STS pre-engineered packaged plants, working closely with internal design and process teams

•Conduct site visits, assess system requirements, and generate technical proposals

•Deliver presentations and technical discussions with consultants, operators, and decision-makers

•Manage and grow a sales pipeline using Salesforce, meeting revenue and activity targets

•Coordinate with internal engineering and project management teams to ensure smooth handoff from sale to delivery

•Work with existing installations to gather operating data and provide technical assistance


Preferred Experience


•Familiarity with pre-engineered or packaged wastewater systems

•Knowledge of industrial water permitting and discharge challenges

•Previous experience selling to food & beverage, chemical, or commercial industrial clients

•Background in mechanical systems integration (controls, blowers, instrumentation)

Requirements:

Qualifications


•Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

•3+ years of technical sales experience in water/wastewater, process equipment, or related industrial systems

•Demonstrated success in solution-based selling and territory development

•Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, aeration systems, or blower technologies

•Experience managing rep networks and/or direct sales in a multi-state territory

•Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills

•Willingness to travel regionally (up to 50%)

•Strong teamwork skills
