Job description

Deliver assigned sales quota for the region/channel, including new product placement, promotional sell-in, and new account development.

Build account plans that identify growth levers (assortment expansion, new item placement, promotions, pricing, and distribution).

Distributor / 2-Step Customer Management

Own relationships with key 2-step distribution partners and customers, serving as the primary commercial point of contact.

Present new product launches and seasonal strategies spanning all ACG brands.

Conduct periodic product line reviews and business recaps; recommend assortment actions based on performance.

Promotions & Go-To-Market Execution

Plan and implement promotional calendars across multiple customers, coordinating timing, offers, and expected lift.

Develop cohesive go-to-market strategies (e.g., new assortment rollouts) in partnership with each customer’s external (customer-facing) sales team.

Field Engagement, Travel, and Events

Travel to customer locations as needed to support relationship building, joint sales calls, trainings, and business reviews.

Manage and attend 10+ tradeshows and conferences annually; occasional weekend work may be required.

Forecasting & Demand Planning Support

Partner with internal Demand Planning to support customer/item-level forecasts, incorporating promotional plans, new item launches, and customer demand signals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate internally across Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and Product/Category to ensure customer needs are met and initiatives are executed effectively.

Maintain accurate, timely records in Salesforce including opportunities, customer notes, action items, and pipeline updates.

Data & Performance Insights

Collect, analyze, and interpret customer sales data and trends to identify opportunities and risks; translate insights into clear recommendations and actions.

Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university (business-related discipline preferred).

Preferred: Coursework or continuing education focused on sales analytics, finance, or category management.

Experience

Required:

2+ years of sales experience in 2-step distribution or a similar channel (or equivalent account management experience).

Experience presenting products/programs to distributor customers and influencing assortment and promotional decisions.

Preferred:

Experience supporting multiple accounts simultaneously across a region/territory.

Experience managing tradeshows/events and converting event activity into pipeline and bookings.
