Job description

We have a customer in Tempe, AZ who has an IMMEDIATE direct-hire opening for an experienced Business Development Manager.  If you or any of your friends or colleagues are interested in this position, please click APPLY NOW. 

In this role you will spearhead the introduction of new ultrasonic flow meter products into new markets targeting the Biopharmaceutical, Semiconductor, aerospace and other liquid flow industries.   In this role you will work with Sales and Engineering as a Business Development Manager who will develop the sales channel to end-users and to new channel partners, champion the product internally and externally, drive sales at key accounts, identify key product applications, provide technical support and develop marketing material to drive the promotional strategies.  In addition, you will also develop and implement strategic and tactical plans, provide monthly sales forecasts, communicate macro market trends and be accountable for delivering agreed upon budgets, plan sales and order numbers. 

This is a DIRECT HIRE position in Tempe, AZ and is on-site

Salary range is $100 - 120,000 with quarterly bonus structure

Position requires 50% domestic travel with employee creating personal schedule of TWO weeks per month travel to customer sites

Job Requirements:

  • Four year Business or Technical degree and 7-10 years+ in sales and marketing, MBA a plus
  • Experience in process control or instrumentation and control (I&C), liquid flow equipment/meters
  • Understanding and experience with Biopharm or semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of key OEMS who support target industries
  • Proven track record of key account development and management, experience developing and managing distribution channels
  • Knowledge and experience with other industrial markets including chemical, food and beverage, water and waste water, oil and gas, automotive and agricultural
  • Must be able to develop marketing and sales plans for new product introduction (NPI) and market penetration
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
