Healthcare Staffing Sales Representative (Business Development)
Department: Sales
Location: Fort Worth, TX or Houston, TX (Nationwide territory potential)

Position Summary
Hire Energy is seeking a highly motivated Healthcare Staffing Sales Representative responsible for generating new client partnerships for our healthcare staffing division. This role is focused on new business development, targeting healthcare facilities that require contract, per diem, and travel healthcare professionals including Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA).
The ideal candidate is a hunter-style sales professional with experience selling staffing services to hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers, clinics, and other healthcare providers. This role requires strong prospecting ability, persistence, and the ability to build long-term relationships with healthcare administrators and staffing coordinators.

Qualifications
Required
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
Preferred
  • Experience selling healthcare staffing services
  • Existing relationships with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or healthcare systems
  • Experience selling RN, LPN, CNA, or allied staffing services
  • Familiarity with vendor agreements, MSPs, and healthcare staffing contracts

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
  • Identify and pursue new healthcare facility clients that require nurse and clinical staffing support.
  • Prospect through cold calling, email outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers including:
    • Directors of Nursing
    • HR Directors
    • Staffing Coordinators
    • Hospital Administrators
    • Healthcare Executives
  • Schedule and conduct sales presentations and discovery meetings with potential clients.
Sales & Contract Development
  • Present healthcare staffing solutions including per diem, contract, travel, and direct hire placements.
  • Negotiate staffing agreements, MSAs, and vendor contracts.
  • Close new accounts and expand service lines within existing facilities.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Market Expansion
  • Identify healthcare staffing shortages and market opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with healthcare organizations in Texas and nationwide markets.
  • Represent Hire Energy at healthcare networking events, job fairs, and industry conferences.
Collaboration with Recruiting
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure client needs are clearly communicated and fulfilled quickly.
  • Provide insight into client expectations, credential requirements, and facility preferences.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term partnerships and repeat placements.
