We are seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development, this role will provide critical support for Business Development, Alliance Management, and Investor Relations/Public Relations activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a few years of industry experience to gain valuable exposure to corporate strategy while contributing to key business functions in a dynamic biotech environment, working closely with the leadership team.

Responsibilities Business Development
  • Conduct basic market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential partnership opportunities.
  • Assist in tracking and updating a database of ongoing discussions with potential partners.
  • Support the preparation of meeting agendas, presentations, and follow‑up documentation for BD-related activities.
Alliance Management
  • Maintain a centralized record of partnership milestones, key contacts, and reporting timelines.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings with external partners.
  • Provide support in preparing reports and summaries for internal teams on project updates.
Investor Relations/Public Relations
  • Help maintain and update investor-facing materials, including presentations, fact sheets, and press releases.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for investor meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Monitor and organize investor inquiries, ensuring timely responses.
Ad-hoc duties
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information and complete deliverables.
  • Support the Corporate Development team with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences or a related field,
  • Business background and MBA, MD or PhD degrees are a plus,
  • At least 2 years of work experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or related corporate environment.
  • Ability to understand market dynamics, to evaluate and benchmark competitors within the market and identify partnerships aligned with business goals.
  • Ability to comprehend financial modelling such as valuation modeling and licensing deal modeling.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work from Woburn, MA location.
