Pannos Marketing is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business opportunities and support the agency's continued growth. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic business development initiatives, managing the sales process from initial inquiry through project handoff, cultivating strong client relationships, and collaborating with leadership to expand the agency's market presence.


The ideal candidate brings experience in business development, agency sales, or client strategy, along with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills and a passion for helping organizations solve complex marketing challenges while identifying opportunities for long-term growth and partnership.


What You’ll Do:

  • Planning, management, and execution of all business development activities including follow-up with all assigned inbound inquiries, conference and webinar attendees as well as on-going, out-bound calling campaigns
  • Develop and implement an outbound calling program with an expected minimum of 75 calls weekly as well as other tactical and strategic goals to be tracked
  • Arranging and attending new business meetings and calls with prospective clients
  • Initiate the acquisition of referrals and further contact information on a regular basis through internal discussions and industry outreach
  • In partnership with other management team members, develop new business proposals and manage sales process from commencement to close
  • Manage successful transition to Project/Account Teams when new business is acquired
  • As required, attend industry conferences and events to meet with existing and potential clients
  • Help build awareness of Pannos Marketing by contributing to the company’s content marketing, which could include articles, social media posts, blog and eBlast articles
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Assist in the execution of marketing plans to achieve the company business development objectives including follow up, initiation, list building, event coordination and other items as requested
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials to support business development objectives
  • Track all business development activity within HubSpot and manage monthly pipeline analysis

What You Need to Succeed:

  • College degree or equivalent required. Business or Marketing degree highly preferred
  • 3–5 years of experience within the financial services industry and 2–5 years of marketing experience.
  • 3–5 years of business development experience, with a strong focus on consultative or solution-based selling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint for developing client presentations and proposals and Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including the ability to develop strategic perspectives, identify market trends, and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
