Community Relations & Business Development Associate

HomeWell Care Services TX270

Job description

About HomeWell
HomeWell Care Services in Temple is growing, and we are looking for a people-first, community-minded Community Relations & Business Development Associate to help us connect more families with the care and support they need.
This role is perfect for someone who loves being out in the community, building real relationships, and creating meaningful partnerships. You are not just “marketing” home care — you are becoming a trusted resource for families, seniors, referral partners, and community leaders throughout Temple and the surrounding areas.
At HomeWell, we provide non-medical home care services that help older adults remain safe, supported, and independent at home. Our Community Relations & Business Development Associate will play a key role in sharing that mission with the community and helping families understand how the right care can bring peace of mind during some of life’s most important moments.
This is not a sit-behind-a-desk type of position. We are looking for someone who is energized by meeting new people, attending events, walking into facilities, starting conversations, and building trust over time. The right person will be comfortable connecting with hospitals, rehab centers, senior living communities, physician offices, churches, veterans organizations, and other local partners who serve older adults and their families.
What You’ll Do
  • Build and grow referral relationships throughout Temple, Belton, Killeen, Harker Heights, Salado, Troy, and surrounding communities.
  • Represent HomeWell Care Services at networking events, chamber meetings, senior events, health fairs, and community gatherings.
  • Educate referral partners, families, and local organizations on how non-medical home care can support seniors at home.
  • Develop meaningful partnerships with healthcare providers, senior care professionals, community organizations, and local businesses.
  • Generate qualified client referrals and provide consistent follow-up with referral partners and families.
  • Track outreach activity, referral sources, leads, and conversion results.
  • Conduct a minimum of 8 face-to-face visits daily with referral sources, ensuring value is demonstrated at each meeting.
  • Partner closely with the office team to ensure every family has a smooth, caring, and professional experience from the first conversation to the start of care.
  • Look for creative ways to grow HomeWell’s presence and reputation in the Bell county community.
  • Monitor and adhere to the sales budget, ensuring all expenditures align with the agency’s financial goals.
  • Complete the Client Assessment Packet for each new client that agency has acquired and provide all signed agreements to the client or designated representative.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by leadership.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is outgoing, genuine, organized, and relationship-driven. You enjoy being the face of a brand and know how to make people feel comfortable, heard, and supported.
Experience in home care, home health, hospice, senior living, healthcare sales, staffing, medical office outreach, community relations, or outside sales is a plus.
You may be a great fit if you:
  • Love connecting with people and building long-term relationships.
  • Are comfortable making cold visits, warm follow-ups, and community introductions.
  • Communicate with confidence, kindness, and professionalism.
  • Understand the importance of trust and compassion when working with families and seniors.
  • Can manage a weekly outreach plan and stay accountable to goals.
  • Enjoy being out in the field and active in the local community.
  • Have reliable transportation and are comfortable traveling locally.
  • Bring positive energy, follow-through, and a heart for helping others.
Why This Role Matters
Families often do not know where to turn when a loved one needs help at home. This role helps bridge that gap. As a Community Relations & Business Development Associate with HomeWell Care Services, you will help create awareness, build trust, and connect families with services that can make daily life safer, easier, and more supported. If you are passionate about people, senior care, and making a real impact in the community, we would love to meet you.
