Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to expand our referral network, strengthen community partnerships, and drive patient admissions.
The Business Development Representative will play a critical role in generating and maintaining referral relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and strategic partners. This individual will be responsible for driving census growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and representing the facility with professionalism and integrity.
Relationship Building & Outreach
  •  Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources including: 
    •  Therapists, psychiatrists, and psychologists 
    •  Hospitals and healthcare systems 
    •  Detox centers, residential programs, and outpatient providers 
    •  Case managers and social workers
    • Attorneys, universities, trade programs and EAPs
  •  Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and outreach meetings to promote services 
  •  Serve as a primary point of contact for referral partners 
Business Development Strategy
  •  Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets 
  •  Execute strategic outreach plans to increase admissions and brand visibility 
  •  Track and analyze referral trends and adjust strategies accordingly 
  •  Collaborate with leadership on growth initiatives and market expansion 
Community Engagement
  •  Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions 
  •  Coordinate and participate in community education initiatives and workshops 
  •  Build partnerships with local organizations, schools, and advocacy groups 
Admissions Collaboration
  •  Work closely with the admissions team to ensure seamless referral processes 
  •  Follow up on leads and maintain consistent communication with referral partners 
  •  Assist in converting qualified leads into admissions 
CRM & Reporting
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems 
  •  Track outreach efforts, referral activity, and performance metrics 
  •  Provide regular reports on pipeline activity and growth progress
