We are focused on meeting the needs of middle market and large enterprises across a wide array of industries in the United States. As part of the Susquehanna family of companies, we can bring to bear the ability to place risks that are highly customized to the needs of our customers. We are focused on finding firms who are looking for innovative solutions to reduce their risks as they grow their business.
As a Business Development Associate, you will work closely with our analysts and traders in identifying, contacting, and understanding the risks of a particular industry and business. This opportunity offers an introduction to prediction markets, swaps, and insurance solutions within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will quickly gain valuable experience as you develop conversational skills, network with industry leaders, and evaluate risks.
Specific Job Duties:
  • Performing thesis-based market research and industry analysis
  • Evaluation of conferences for potential attendance
  • Attending conferences to represent River's Edge
  • Executing weekly, monthly, and quarterly outbound expectations
  • Constructing presentation materials
  • Managing the integrity of our company/contact database

What we're looking for

  • Comfortable cold calling and finding creative ways to access the C-suite of a company
