Job description

Job Title: Business Development Associate
Department: OIC Construction
Classification: Hourly with Benefits
Compensation: $22–$26/hour 

Position Summary
The Business Development Associate supports growth of OIC Construction by identifying opportunities, assisting with proposals, and coordinating outreach and client engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track RFPs and bid opportunities across local, state, and federal platforms
  • Assist in preparing proposals, bid packages, and capability statements
  • Maintain the opportunity pipeline and CRM system
  • Coordinate outreach with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Schedule site visits, meetings, and business development events
  • Support internal tools, including the RFP search engine pilot

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years in business development, sales support, marketing, or construction administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred (Optional) Skills

  • Familiarity with CRM systems or pipeline tracking tools
