Job description

Non-CDL Bus Driver - Childcare Center
Southwest Washington Learning Center (SWLC) is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Bus Driver to transport school-age children to and from local Vancouver schools. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and values a consistent, part-time schedule.
Schedule Options:
  • Morning Route: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Route: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
    Applicants may apply for one or both shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport children to and from designated Vancouver schools using a 15-passenger bus
  • Ensure children are properly supervised during loading, transport, and unloading
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain accurate attendance and transportation logs
  • Communicate professionally with staff, families, and school personnel
  • Follow all Washington State and center safety policies and procedures
