What does a camp bus driver do?

A camp bus driver is responsible for safely transporting campers and staff to and from the camp, as well as on field trips or other excursions. They ensure that the bus is in good working condition, follow all safety rules, and supervise children during transit. Camp bus drivers also often assist with loading and unloading luggage, maintain attendance records, and communicate with camp staff about schedules or changes. Their primary focus is on the safety and well-being of all passengers.

Bus drivers at camps often navigate unique challenges such as managing energetic or anxious campers, maintaining strict schedules, and ensuring safety on rural or unfamiliar routes.
