Bus Detail TechnicianNow Hiring: Bus Detail Technician

Pittsburgh Transportation Group

Pittsburgh Transportation Group is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bus Detail Technician to support the upkeep and presentation of our fleet. This overnight role is vital in ensuring our buses are clean, well-maintained, and fully prepared to deliver safe, dependable transportation services each day.

Key Responsibilities of a Bus Detail Technician:

As a Bus Detail Technician, your duties will include:

  • Washing, cleaning, and detailing buses and fleet vehicles to uphold a professional appearance
  • Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining both interiors and exteriors of vehicles
  • Completing minor cosmetic touch-ups and appearance enhancements as needed
  • Applying and removing decals, wraps, and graphics
  • Assisting with vehicle preparation for inspections, auctions, and special projects
  • Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and restocking as needed
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas, including wash bays and parking facilities
  • Supporting the fleet and operations teams with additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of a Bus Detail Technician:

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

Experience

  • Previous experience in vehicle detailing, fleet cleaning, or automotive appearance services preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Valid driverโ€™s license required
  • Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Compensation
  • Shift: Mondayโ€“Friday, 10:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 AM
  • Pay: $16.40 per hour
