This 150-bed inpatient facility in Burlington, Iowa maintains the clinical resources and established protocols necessary to support interventional cardiology services on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate 24-hour call-based cardiac care delivery, with emergency privileges available and a support team that includes 1 interventional cardiologist, 2 general cardiologists, and 2 APPs. Two permanent interventional cardiologists are scheduled to join the team, providing additional clinical continuity for cardiac care delivery.

Emergency privileges are available as part of this assignment. Call coverage is a required component, and clinicians must maintain continuous availability to respond to inpatient cardiac cases and perform procedures as credentialed by the facility.
