POSITION TITLE
Talent Acquisition Manager
LOCATION
Richmond, VA - Hybrid - Required in office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
YOUR ROLE
As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will own full-cycle recruiting for a diverse portfolio of roles, partnering with hiring leaders and HR stakeholders to attract, assess, and hire strong talent. You will use market insight, sound judgment, and practical problem solving to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes and a positive candidate and stakeholder experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Serve as a strategic recruitment partner to hiring leaders and key stakeholders with sound judgment, business insight, and strong stakeholder partnership
  • Partner with hiring leaders, Human Resources, and business stakeholders to clarify needs, priorities, and hiring goals
  • Build diverse pipelines through proactive sourcing, talent mapping, recruitment marketing, and outreach
  • Use recruiting data, talent intelligence, technology, and AI-enabled tools to recommend practical recruiting solutions
  • Develop relationships with search firms, universities, associations, community partners, and talent networks
  • Deliver a responsive, inclusive, high-quality experience for candidates, HR partners, and hiring leaders
  • Support internal mobility and succession efforts aligned to workforce needs
  • Partner with Employee Resource Groups and internal stakeholders to broaden talent reach and strengthen the employer brand
  • Manage multiple searches and timelines with urgency, accuracy, and adaptability


WHAT YOU BRING

  • 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated ability to manage searches independently and deliver results
  • Strong sourcing and talent intelligence skills using market insights, technology, and AI-enabled tools
  • Experience building talent strategies through external networks, associations, universities, community organizations, and veteran programs
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with hiring leaders, partners, candidates, and external contacts
  • Expertise in competency-based interviewing, digital interviewing, and pre-hire assessment practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages and listen effectively
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritization, urgency, and adaptability
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and follow-through
  • Comfort learning and applying modern recruiting technologies, including Microsoft Office and AI-enabled tools such as Copilot
  • Occasional travel may be required

NICE TO HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • 10+ years of full life cycle recruiting or commensurate experience with a demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of skill sets and experience levels
  • Prior agency / search firm, corporate and/or international recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit on a national or global level for multiple locations


COMPENSATION
National Range: $84,400 - 127,000
Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
