The Incumbent is responsible for general cleaning and housekeeping using a variety of equipment and supplies. Each of the full-time Building Services Attendants has a defined area for which he/she has responsibility.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Essential job requirements include the ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions, walking, climbing stairs, kneeling, stooping, squatting, standing, climbing ladders, reaching, and lifting. Ability to learn cleaning procedures and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Perform general cleaning and housekeeping tasks in order to ensure buildings, rooms, and restrooms are clean, sanitary, and free of debris and dust.
Essential Job Function
Use hand tools such as brooms, mops, squeegees, buffers, polishers, and vacuum cleaners to ensure the proper cleaning and maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, and furniture. Must be able to operate power equipment on floor surfaces if required.

Replace light bulbs in light fixtures as needed and replenish restroom supplies.

Wash windows and/or doors, pick up and dispose properly of trash and litter in and around the buildings and grounds.

Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and tools, and report need for additional supplies and tools. Use supplies and tools correctly.

Set up and move furniture and equipment as requested. Assist BSA Set-up Tech with set-ups for special programs and activities as needed.

Distribute and inventory building services supplies from central storage.
