Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Professional!
 
In this role, the Outside Sales Professional will be responsible for driving the sales performance of the company’s fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living products. You will be making face-to-face sales calls with existing and potential customers, building long lasting business relationships, and finding new opportunities for growth. While the majority of the time will be spent in the field meeting with existing and potential customer, this position will require one or two days a week working from the branch office making outbound calls, creating quotes and orders, assisting customers, and completing day-to-day administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
Sales Performance:
  • Lead sales activities to maximize sales growth, margin targets, market share, and overall company objectives.
  • Strong sales leader with solid business acumen.
Customer Relationship:
  • Develop strong business relationships through face to face sales calls and relationship building activities.
  • Cultivate customers in this new area of business.
  • Determine what motivates each customer to purchase and respond accordingly.
Market Expansion:
  • Implement and execute sales growth strategies that are consistent with the company’s strategic plans.
  • Develop a culture of creativity in approach to business development.
  • Work with Branch Manager to develop and execute sales growth strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or work equivalent.
  • 2 plus years of experience in sales.
  • Internet Research.
  • Ability to use software to create presentations, word documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Successful track record of selling in the building materials industry and home center/hardware stores preferred.
  • Fence or building materials industry experience desired.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
