Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for mechanical systems and a knack for closing deals? IKM Building Solutions, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Account Manager to join our team and help us grow our footprint across Wisconsin.

As the face of IKM, youโ€™ll be our brand stewardโ€”building strong client relationships, expanding our market presence, and delivering outcome-based solutions in Mechanical, Plumbing, Fabrication, Service, and Controls.

 

What Youโ€™ll Do

Reporting to the Service Manager, your role will include:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and manufacturing clients
  • Identify and close new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling
  • Promote renewable service agreements and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic, technical proposals
  • Track opportunities in CRM and maintain detailed account plans
  • Represent IKM at trade shows and industry events

What You Bring

  • Proven sales experience in construction, mechanical systems, or related industries
  • Ability to read construction drawings and P&IDs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with excellent time and territory management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; COINS and SmartSheet experience a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelorโ€™s degree in construction management or related field preferred

Work Environment & Travel

  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation needed
  • Must be comfortable working in varied job site conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and travel regularly to client locations
