JOB SUMMARY:
An ATS Group Operations Supervisor/Manager is responsible for the development and leadership of a team of Project Engineers and Technicians. It is anticipated that this position will be 25-40% supervision, while performing actual project work for the balance of the time. Supervisors/Managers are able to design, and engineer control system hardware and software programming based on project requirements and provide analysis of building control and mechanical system performance as a complete systems and campus level. This is an exempt position.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Control System Design and Programming
  • Ensure proper engineering, start up, commissioning, closeout of assigned projects
  • Assist in development/management of department initiatives
  • Overall fiscal responsibility of assigned projects
  • Overall labor planning for group
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Participate in quarterly goal reviews with direct reports
  • Participate in performance appraisals
  • Training/development plans for individual direct reports

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
  • Knowledge of DDC Control Theory and Applications
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Autocad skills
  • Programming skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interactive and communication skills

POSITION TYPE AND HOURS
  • Full-time, exempt
  • Typical Monday - Friday working hours with flexibility as needed
  • Local travel required, up to 30% of the time with occasional out-of-state travel

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
  • AA degree in applied technology and/or undergraduate degree preferred
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Computer programming experience
  • Building Mechanical System and Troubleshooting experience
  • 5+ years industry experience (minimum)
