As an Account Executive at Buildforce, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our presence in the Virginia market. Your primary responsibility will be to build and nurture relationships within the construction industry, leveraging your skills to expand our footprint and drive business growth.

This role has three components of pay:
  • Base Salary: $80k-$100k (depending on experience level)
  • Commission: Uncapped commission with accelerator past quota
  • Stock Options: Direct equity ownership in the business

This role is responsible for:
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with leaders of electrical contractors in Virginia, understanding their staffing needs and challenges.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Presenting staffing solutions to electrical contractors and negotiating contract terms.
  • Attending workshops, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance skills and industry knowledge.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and transactions in a CRM (Hubspot).
  • Collaborating with the recruiting team to match the right candidates with client requirements.
  • Collaborating with the product team to improve Buildforce's contractor-facing product.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in a construction-related field
  • You are intimately familiar with the city of Phoenix and probably have a local area code
  • You have a history of building successful relationships in previous sales roles

  • You are fearless and have a high tolerance for rejection
  • You have superior communication skills
  • You're a creative, quick-thinking problem solver
  • You are tech-savvy, with proficiency in CRMs like Hubspot
