Key Responsibilities
Customer & Account Management
  • Serve as the primary technical/business interface for hyperscale accounts (e.g., Meta data center infrastructure teams).
  • Support ORU (Open Rack Unit) in-rack power initiatives, including power shelf and busbar distribution strategies.
  • Translate customer requirements into Delta product roadmaps and design wins.

Technical Business Development
  • Drive adoption of Delta's 48V-to-12V DC-DC conversion solutions, including:
    • Intermediate Bus Converters (IBC)
    • Bus Converters / DCX (Direct Conversion)
    • Point-of-Load (POL) architectures
  • Identify and develop opportunities in rack-level and board-level power distribution.

Semiconductor Ecosystem Engagement
  • Build strategic relationships with key semiconductor partners, including:
    • Power controller and PMIC vendors
    • GaN/SiC device manufacturers
  • Align Delta solutions with chipsets from companies like:
    • Infineon Technologies
    • Texas Instruments
    • Analog Devices
    • Monolithic Power Systems
    • Renesas Electronics
  • Support co-design and reference architectures leveraging:
    • Digital power controllers (PMBus-enabled)
    • Multiphase buck converters for 12V rail distribution
    • High-efficiency conversion using GaN FETs

Product & Architecture Alignment
  • Support development and positioning of:
    • 48V power shelves and rectifiers
    • Busbar-based rack distribution systems
    • 12V intermediate rails for CPU/GPU/ASIC loads
  • Contribute to OCP-aligned designs (Open Rack v3, ORv3 power specs).

Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Track trends in hyperscale data centers, including:
    • Migration from 12V to 48V architectures
    • AI/ML workload-driven power density increases
  • Provide competitive insights and identify gaps in Delta's portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5-10+ years of experience in:
    • Data center power systems, or
    • Semiconductor/power IC ecosystem, or
    • Technical sales/business development in power solutions
  • Strong understanding of:
    • DC-DC conversion topologies (buck, LLC, IBC, multiphase)
    • 48V data center architectures and rack-level power design
  • Experience working with hyperscale or cloud customers.

Pay Range
USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
Preferred Qualifications
  • miliarity with Open Compute Project standards.
  • Experience with board-level power design for CPUs, GPUs, or ASICs.
  • Knowledge of:
    • PMBus / digital power management
    • Thermal and efficiency optimization in high-density racks
  • Existing relationships within Meta or similar hyperscalers.
