Summary: Customer Account Representative's focus is to prioritize and fulfill the customer requirements and demands to exceed their expectations.
Safety is #1 at BTD: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) Strictly follows safety policies, rules and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. Promptly reports injuries for prompt diagnosis and treatment. 3) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.
Essential Functions: This position is responsible for working with the account team members to perform the following tasks, duties and responsibilities for the customer:
  1. Process purchase orders, return orders, and customer credits into ERP system.
  2. Manage customer-specific order lines and forecast to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment. \
  3. Respond to customers in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints and issues quickly.
  4. Escalate urgent orders appropriately to ensure timely resolution.
  5. Ensure on time delivery of parts for the customer to meet their expectations and requirements.
  6. Independently prioritize workload to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  7. Monitor new part process to ensure PPAP and tooling orders are processed efficiently.
  8. Assist quality and production with part rejections as needed.
  9. Monitor pricing issues on orders with the sales department and update as needed.
  10. Assist with internal and external container issues and concerns.
  11. Direct requests to the appropriate person or department.
  12. Work effectively with different departments to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service.
  13. Professionally communicate accurate information to internal and external customers.
  14. Adapt to customers preferred way of communication.
  15. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members.
  16. Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction through direct interactions with customers.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Graduation from high school, plus one year of related training. Preferred: Bachelor's or Associates Degree or related on-the-job training
Experience and Skills Required:
  1. Must be flexible with a willingness to perform the jobs personally as well as through delegation or interaction with others.
  2. Ability to work with minimum direction but will understand the importance of clear and effective communication with the President, leadership team and others with whom, the position interacts.
  3. Ability to operate general office equipment including manufacturing/production applications and financial spreadsheet, email and word processing applications on a microcomputer.

Work Environment:The position has good working conditions in a manufacturing plant environment, and is a diversified job requiring sustained mental effort related to internal/external contacts, organizational issues, planning and technical areas. The individual may encounter significant emotional strain or tension. There is sustained exposure to standing, sitting and the plant environment. There is also moderate exposure to Video Data Terminals (VDTs).
Compensation Salary Range: OTC5 $$20.60 - $28.83 hourly. The range for this position is being displayed in compliance with all state and local regulations. Salaries are set based on a number of factors to include an individual's job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This means that no two candidates are alike. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. The range provided above does not include additional compensation such as bonus, health benefits, vacation, 401(K) match, etc.
