Job description

Meaningful Work From Day One

Responsible for responding to requests and inquiries of services offered in a professional and confidential manner, as well as a wide range of member service and lending functions for Brown-Forman Employees Credit Union, a state chartered credit union with assets of approximately $14 million, loans of $10 million, and membership of approximately 1450 members.

What You Can Expect

  • Responds to member inquiries professionally and confidentially, providing information on the full range of credit union products and services.

  • Executes member service functions, including processing share withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, and cashing checks.

  • Maintains a teller cash drawer, reconciling balances daily, and managing cash levels.

  • Opens new member accounts, cross-selling services, and providing all applicable account disclosures.

  • Processes loan applications, evaluates credit history, and calculates debt ratios to determine loan approvals.

  • Ensures compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act by monitoring data from FINCEN and processing OFAC checks.

  • Educates and advises members on strategies to improve and protect their credit history.

  • Coordinates the share certificate program and assists with the distribution of member statements.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous experience in the Credit Union or Banking field.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and complete workloads in a high-pressure, team environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining effective working relationships.

  • Proven analytical and mathematical skills, with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when dealing with sensitive financial information.

  • Previous customer service experience with an outgoing and energetic personality

  • 5+ years of previous credit union or banking experience

In-office at the Brown-Forman Louisville, Kentucky Corporate Headquarters Monday to Friday 8:30AM - 4:30PM.
