Job description

Growing global food manufacturer with tremendous growth opportunity is seeking a sales specialist coordinator to join their team onsite at their office in the greater Rochester, NY area.The Sales Specialist Coordinator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative, technical, and organizational support to the field Sales team. This includes assisting with customer communication, coordinating sample and documentation requests, maintaining CRM data integrity, and ensuring timely follow?up on sales activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provide administrative and logistical support to the Sales team, including entering and tracking sample requests, following up on shipments, and assisting with customer needs.Manage pricing requests for company product lineitems, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses.Prepare, collect, and submit technical documentation and maintain organized records.Maintain and update CRM data, including contacts, opportunities, activity notes, and broker updates, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.Support all sales opportunities by entering new opportunities, closing completed ones, and ensuring sample requests and dates are kept current.Conduct bi-weekly reviews of opportunity estimated close dates and collaborate with Sales and Brokers to update timelines and status details.Assist with customer visits, presentations, and onsite meetings, ensuring all materials are prepared and delivered professionally.Work with R&D and Marketing teams to support the development of customer?ready presentations and sample kits, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer expectations. (Photos of samples, etc.)Manage RFI/RFP submissions, including document preparation, uploads, and cross?departmental coordination.Upload and maintain information within customer portals, ensuring documents and specifications remain up?to?date.Support interdepartmental meetings by scheduling, preparing materials, taking notes, and ensuring follow?up actions are completed.Assist with special projects and out?of?office coverage needs as assigned by Sales leadership.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor?s degree in food science, Business, or a related field preferred.One to two years of sales support or administrative experience, ideally within a fast?paced food manufacturing relatedenvironment.
