Job Description
The Project Manager at Grantek plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects while applying the Grantek Project Management Methodology as a guiding framework. This role is responsible for leading multidisciplinary project teams, driving project performance, mentoring team members, and delivering exceptional client experiences throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Deliverables
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, applying the Grantek Project Management Methodology to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close projects.
  • Lead and cultivate project teams, fostering collaboration and synergy while guiding them toward successful project outcomes.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, equipping them with the skills and insights needed to excel in their roles.
  • Ensure project success by monitoring performance against established scorecard metrics and delivering projects that meet or exceed scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction, ensuring exceptional service is delivered to both clients and project teams.
  • Mentor and guide project resources on all aspects of their project responsibilities; conduct regular project review meetings to assess progress against objectives and assist in overcoming organizational obstacles.
  • Develop, foster, and promote a positive, engaging, and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Leadership teams to support project execution, resource planning, and business objectives.
  • Drive accountability, communication, and alignment among project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of project management best practices across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Possesses at least one of the following: B.Sc. Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or a related technical degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects successfully.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, project controls, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship experience in a project-based environment.
  • Flexible with travel, which can be expected to be up to 30% across the region.
  • Be flexible regarding working overtime and non-business hours when required.
