Job description

This is more than a bartending position.

We are seeking a Lead Bartender & Bar Program Supervisor who wants to play a key role in growing an emerging hospitality concept. The ideal candidate is passionate about beverage programs, guest experience, community building, and business growth/Sales.

As Three Whistles expands, this role offers the opportunity to help develop systems, create programming, build a loyal customer base, and potentially grow into larger leadership responsibilities within the organization.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who sees themselves as a future Bar Manager, Beverage Director, General Manager, or dynamic and personable hospitality leader.

Key ResponsibilitiesBar Operations

  • Lead daily bar operations and service execution.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, coffee-based beverages, and non-alcoholic offerings to established standards.
  • Ensure consistency, cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and alcohol service requirements.
  • Support opening, closing, and event operations.

Beverage Program Development

  • Assist with seasonal cocktail menu development.
  • Create signature beverage offerings and promotional programs.
  • Monitor beverage quality and guest feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales and guest engagement.

Team Leadership

  • Train, mentor, and support bartenders and support staff.
  • Lead by example during service.
  • Help establish service standards and operational procedures.
  • Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.

Inventory & Financial Management

  • Conduct inventory counts and manage ordering.
  • Monitor beverage costs and reduce waste.

QualificationsRequired

  • Minimum 3 years of bartending experience.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or lead bartender experience.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events.

Preferred
