Job description

Description
Purpose of Job
This position is responsible for providing backend document support and clerical support for all departments within Home Medical Equipment.
Job Functions
  1. Creates sales orders and new patient accounts within EMR (Brightree).
  2. Upload documentation to patient accounts within Brightree.
  3. Perform verification of orders shipped. Contacts patients/referrals for necessary follow-up and/or missing documentation.
  4. Performs the transfer for medical records.
  5. Monitors and assists with gathering patient data from various CPAP cloud-based platforms.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Work Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in computer programs relating to spreadsheets, database, and word processing applications.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to meets and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above
  • Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to relate easily and well with others, projecting a positive and mature attitude to customers
  • Ability to take work direction from department staff

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Durable Medical Equipment setting
  • Previous document management experience
  • Brightree experience
