NP/PA - Family Medicine (In-Clinic Acute Care Telehealth)
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine within a cutting-edge telehealth environment. This permanent position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality acute care services remotely, making a meaningful impact on patient health in the Highland Park, CA area. Overview:
This role involves providing comprehensive family medicine care through telehealth platforms, managing an average of 35-40 patients daily. You will conduct full assessments, diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for acute conditions, all within a supportive team environment. The position offers a stable schedule with 8-hour day shifts, no night or weekend call, and the chance to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting that values your skills and dedication.
Required Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Urgent Care setting or similar fast-paced environment
  • Board Certified NP or PA with active and unrestricted California license
  • Bilingual in Spanish, capable of conducting full assessments without an interpreter
  • Proficiency in family medicine and telemedicine practices
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with acute care or primary care telehealth services
  • Additional language skills beyond Spanish
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Prior experience working with diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in urgent or family medicine
  • Certification in family medicine or urgent care specialties

Other Requirements:
  • Valid California NP or PA license and DEA registration
  • Ability to work independently in a telehealth setting
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • No travel required for this position
