Are you passionate about building relationships, creating unforgettable events, and putting smiles on people's faces? Local Flavor KC is seeking a motivated and energetic Catering & Event Sales Representative to help grow our catering and event management business.

If you enjoy networking, meeting new people, and helping clients bring their events to life, we'd love to hear from you!

As a Catering & Event Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, preparing event proposals, and guiding clients through the planning process from the initial inquiry to the successful execution of their event.

Compensation:

$20 per hour plus commission


Responsibilities:
  • Generate new catering and event sales opportunities through networking, prospecting, and referrals.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective clients.

  • Schedule and conduct consultations with clients.

  • Prepare customized proposals and event estimates.

  • Build relationships with corporate clients, wedding venues, event planners, hotels, schools, churches, and community organizations.

  • Conduct venue visits and attend networking events and bridal shows.

  • Coordinate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure successful event execution.

  • Maintain accurate client records and sales activity.

  • Follow up with prospective and past clients to generate repeat business.

  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.


Qualifications:
  • Sales, hospitality, catering, or event planning experience preferred.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
