Job description

We are seeking a skilled Bridal Seamstress/Fitter to join our team at our Boutique/Studio located in Fishkill, NY.

Candidates must have a  consolidated experience working with wedding gowns, delicate fabrics like silk, lace and beaded fabric, exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Candidates must have a knowledge in garment construction and strong hand and industrial machine sewing  skills. 

Pattern making is a plus but not strictly required .

Must have Ability to perform fittings and carry out alterations following the Boutique/Studio techniques and protocols. 

Assist in creating custom pieces like veils, bows, sleeves, gloves from new fabrics to heirloom materials.  

We are by appointment only Bridal Studio. Candidates will thrive in a creative studio environment, and must  be able to work efficiently under the direction of the lead designer. 

Must speak English, have strong  customer service skills and Must be reliable and punctual.
