Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi - brewers of Asahi Super Dry - acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. As Cellar Supervisor, you'll be the accountable leader for your shift - keeping production, communication, and your team on track, and reporting directly to the Cellar Manager.


THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for a Cellar Supervisor to serve as the go-to leader for their shift - making real-time production decisions, keeping communication flowing between Cellar, Batching, Brewhouse, and Packaging, and making sure the team has what they need to hit their goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Serve as the accountable leader for your shift - making production decisions and keeping scheduled work on track

Act as the primary communicator between your shift and the Cellar Manager, Packaging, and the Brewhouse operator

Check in regularly with your team, provide feedback, and help resolve concerns as they come up

Recommend staffing and schedule changes based on your read of the process and workflow

Ensure documentation, sanitation, and safety standards are completed and handed off cleanly to the next shift

Delegate work across the shift, including the batching team and other brewing support as needed


WHAT YOU BRING

Must-haves:

Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting 55 lbs / moving 165 lbs as needed

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing or manufacturing setting

Flexibility to work various shifts and prioritize shifting tasks

Nice-to-haves:

2-3 years of experience in a brewing environment

Degree in Brewing Science/Technology

PAY BY SHIFT

Pay starts at $28.00/hr, using the same shift differential structure as our Brewer roles. Shifts outside of 1st shift include an additional shift differential on top of that base - never a lower starting rate, just added pay for the shift.

1st Shift - $28.00/hr (base rate)

2nd Shift - $28.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential = $31.00/hr

3rd Shift - $28.00/hr base + $4.00/hr shift differential = $32.00/hr

Weekend Day - $28.00/hr base + $5.75/hr shift differential = $33.75/hr

Weekend Night - $28.00/hr base + $7.75/hr shift differential = $35.75/hr
