Job description

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Legal Secretary to join our award-winning team in our Las Vegas office. We are a reputable and forward-thinking mid-sized law firm, recognized for our sixth consecutive year as a Best Law Firmยฎ by U.S. News & World Report's Best Lawyersยฎ. As a Legal Secretary, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success.

Responsibilities
  • Draft and format legal documents, correspondence, and briefs
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
  • Handle correspondence with clients and attorneys
  • File legal documents timely and accurately with Nevada courts using e-filing procedures
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative duties

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of recent litigation secretarial experience required. Insurance Defense, Civil Litigation, or Personal Injury background preferred
  • Knowledge of Nevada court filing/e-filing procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional yet outgoing personality
