Job description

Silver Creek Valley Country Club, located in San Jose, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Pilates Mat Group Exercise instructor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Position Highlights:
• Teach Group Floor Mat Pilates 1 day per week
• Monday, Wednesday, or Friday at 9am
Compensation: $55 - $60 per hour (hourly and commission combined)
Responsibilities:
• Lead safe, structured mat Pilates classes for mixed fitness levels
• Demonstrate exercises clearly and offer modifications/regressions/progressions
• Cue proper alignment, breathing, and control (core principles of Pilates)
• Keep classes engaging, paced well, and on time
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching mat Pilates classes in a studio, gym, or group fitness setting
• Current Pilates certification from a recognized program (mat certification required; comprehensive certification a plus)
• Strong understanding of Pilates principles (alignment, core engagement, breathwork, control)
• Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
• Excellent verbal cueing and communication skills
• Ability to create safe, engaging, and well-structured class sequences
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage class flow independently
• Comfortable working in a group fitness environment
