Part Time Breathwork information

What are some typical challenges faced by part-time breathwork practitioners, and how can they be managed?

Part-time breathwork facilitators often face the challenge of balancing session scheduling with other commitments, as clients may request sessions outside standard working hours. Additionally, building a consistent client base can take time when working part-time, so networking and establishing strong community relationships are crucial. Facilitators also need to maintain their own well-being, as holding space for others can be emotionally demanding. Effective time management, ongoing professional development, and regular self-care practices are essential strategies for managing these challenges.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Breathwork Facilitator, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Breathwork Facilitator, you need a solid understanding of breathwork techniques, human physiology, and often a certification from a recognized breathwork training program. Familiarity with online meeting platforms, audio equipment, and wellness tracking apps is commonly required for facilitating sessions and managing client records. Outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to create a safe, supportive environment help facilitators connect with clients and guide transformative experiences. These skills and qualities are essential for building trust, ensuring client safety, and delivering effective breathwork sessions that foster well-being.

What is a part-time breathwork practitioner?

A part-time breathwork practitioner is someone who facilitates breathwork sessions or classes on a part-time basis, helping individuals use specific breathing techniques for relaxation, stress reduction, or personal growth. They may lead group or one-on-one sessions in person or online, and often work flexible hours alongside other jobs or commitments. Part-time breathwork practitioners may also educate clients about the benefits of conscious breathing and guide them through exercises tailored to their needs.

About MindFuel

MindFuel is Pittsburgh's first guided contrast therapy and breathwork studio.

Through sauna, cold plunge, breathwork, meditation, movement, and community, we help people reduce stress, build resilience, and feel more connected to themselves and others.

We're creating experiences that help people show up as the best version of themselves.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for exceptional facilitators, coaches, teachers, and community builders to join our team.

About the Role

We're looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people feel better, grow, and thrive.

Whether your background is breathwork, meditation, fitness, coaching, yoga, education, leadership development, the arts, or another people-centered field, we're looking for people who are excited to learn, lead, and create meaningful experiences for others.

This role is ideal for someone who loves working with people, holding space, facilitating transformation, and building genuine community.

MindFuel Guides create belonging, build relationships, and help shape the future of MindFuel.

  • Yoga

  • Group fitness

  • Personal training

  • Coaching

  • Teaching

  • Somatic practices

  • Mental performance

  • Leadership development

We are less concerned with your exact certification and more interested in your ability to connect with people, lead confidently, and create meaningful experiences.

The strongest candidates are:

  • Naturally positive and relationship-oriented

  • Strong communicators

  • Comfortable leading groups

  • Reliable and professional

  • Growth-minded and coachable

  • Passionate about wellness, personal development, and human connection

Schedule Expectations
  • Must be available for at least two recurring shifts per week

  • Evening and weekend availability preferred

  • Guides are expected to support at least one recurring Open Flow shift each week

  • Cross-training in hospitality, operations, and member experience is provided

Compensation & Perks
  • Base compensation plus attendance-based commission opportunities

  • Facilitators are rewarded for building community and growing participation in their sessions

  • Complimentary MindFuel membership

  • Ongoing training and mentorship

  • Opportunities for growth and expanded leadership responsibilities

  • Access to workshops, events, and continuing education opportunities

  • The opportunity to help shape one of Pittsburgh's most unique wellness communities

Additional Requirements
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid certification through an approved provider

  • Must be comfortable working in a wellness environment that includes sauna, cold plunge, and recovery modalities

Ready to Apply?

If you're excited about helping people feel stronger, calmer, healthier, and more connected, we'd love to hear from you.
