This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work setting. However, therapists will frequently engage with clients via secure virtual platforms, emphasizing the importance of building rapport in a virtual environment. The community health clinic serves as a vital resource for individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, and our team collaborates to ensure a holistic approach to client care.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess mood disorder symptoms, including intensity, frequency, and duration, tailoring treatment as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, goals, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate client healing and development.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster understanding and empowerment in their recovery journeys.
• Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as appropriate to reflect changing needs and responses to therapy.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, sharing insights and treatment updates for comprehensive client support.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually enhance therapy techniques and outcomes.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping that adheres to legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality and client trust.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster a collaborative atmosphere and promote continuity of care.
• Advocate for clients by addressing mental health stigma and ensuring they have access to necessary resources and support.

Our primary focus is on clients experiencing mood disorders, which can range from anxiety and depression to more complex conditions. The therapist will work with a diverse population, including adults, adolescents, and families, emphasizing personalized therapeutic approaches to ensure that each client's unique experiences and cultural backgrounds are respected and integrated into their care.

• Possession of an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field, underlining strong clinical knowledge and training.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate a secure and trust-based therapeutic relationship with clients through exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong sense of empathy, sympathy, and a nonjudgmental stance towards clients’ experiences and struggles are essential to connect effectively with clients.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills are needed to ensure efficient handling of workload and administrative duties.

• Experience in working with clients who are dealing with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and related conditions.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and a flexible approach to therapy that may include group therapy settings.
• Previous experience in a community health setting or collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in mental health care is a plus.

• Annual salary ranging between USD 90,000 and 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
