Job description

As a Server, you will
  • Prepare the dining area for service with placement of rolled silverware, coffee mugs, sugar caddies, & creamers on tables.
  • Prepare the breakfast buffet, stocking all plates & serviceware, along with food items & condiments.
  • Greet all guests warmly as they arrive & assist with showing them to their tables.
  • Deliver prompt, excellent service to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Offer helpful guidance with the Breakfast Buffet offerings, responding knowledgeably to questions.
  • Help with the morning beverage preparation, promptly serving coffee, orange juice, milk, and water to your guests.
  • Maintain the buffet throughout the shift to replace items as needed.
  • Periodically, check in with your tables to refill beverages and ensure all guest needs are met.
  • Graciously present an accurate check and collect payment at the conclusion of the meal.
  • Follow all important safety protocols & guidelines.
  • Settle all financial records at the end of service, ensuring all transactions are accurate and complete.
  • Breakdown and clean the breakfast buffet, wiping down all surfaces and preparing for next day's service.
  • Remove all trash from receptacles and sweep & mop the dining area.
  • Ensure the space is clean and left properly to end the shift.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required. One year of server experience is helpful. Successful food handling service training is helpful. The ability to learn to use Micros Simphony payment systems is required.
Physically, this position requires full mobility, continuous quick-paced movement, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds and pushing food carts pf up to 100 pounds.
Mentally, this position requires proactive thinking, willingness to work with others, and most importantly - a positive attitude.
AM shifts are 5:30am - 10:30am weekdays and 5:30am - 11:00am on weekends. PM and / or Banquet shifts may also be available if interested.
