Our Hotel Group is looking for an energetic and friendly Breakfast Bar Host. Breakfast Host Job Overview:
Breakfast Hosts contribute to delivering an exceptional stay for our guests by preparing and serving the hotel's morning breakfast. Additionally, Breakfast Hosts contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare and display the hotels daily breakfast in accordance with the brand and health department guidelines.
Greet and engage with our guests; answer questions, address concerns and solicit feedback, find and offer appropriate solutions.
Regularly replenish food and beverage offerings, cleaning the service area as needed to maintain a fresh and clean presentation of the serving line.
Bus, clean, and sanitize tables and seating areas throughout shift to provide a clean and ready area for our guests.
Manage inventories to maintain par levels based on hotel occupancy; place food, beverage and supply orders as required.
Maintain organized and clean prep and storage rooms; report any maintenance concerns to management promptly.
Qualifications:
Must have a professional, warm, and approachable disposition.
Demonstrated ability to remain level-headed in hectic and tense situations.
Hold and maintain any required food handling permit or license.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory responsibilities required for this job.
Work Environment:
This job operates in the breakfast bar area which includes a prep kitchen area. Requires the use of various kitchen tools and equipment. The cyclical fast-paced environment of a breakfast area should be expected.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Required to frequently move around the breakfast and kitchen and position self to use kitchen equipment and place items on breakfast line. Regularly position and/or move up to 30 lbs. and occasionally position and/or move up to 50 lbs.
