Job description

Are you a food service professional with a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to guests? You might be just what we're looking for in our next breakfast attendant. Our busy hotel is looking for a detail-oriented person to set up and take down our breakfast buffet, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and other items are always available.

You'll also need to walk throughout the dining area, refill the coffee station, and clean up used plates and utensils. Our ideal applicant has experience in the food service industry and enjoys connecting with people. Apply today if you are eager to provide our guests with a memorable dining experience!

This is an AM shift position and part-time. If you are looking for more hours, we are willing to cross-train in other departments for more hours.

Monday-Friday: 5:30 am-9 am

Saturday-Sunday: 6 am- 11 am

Compensation:

$16 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service
  • Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed
  • Address visitor questions and requests promptly, courteously, and efficiently
  • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment

Qualifications:
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Experience working in food service is preferred
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
