Our client is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Cook to prepare fresh, made-to-order breakfast and lunch items in a small kitchen located within a government facility in downtown Carson City. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking in a fast-paced but welcoming environment and takes pride in serving high-quality meals to a consistent group of customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, primarily using a flat-top grill. Morning service includes favorites such as eggs and pancakes while lunch service focuses on burgers and other classic café offerings. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items according to established standards.
  • Operate a flat-top grill and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation area.
  • Monitor food inventory and notify management of supply needs.
