To thrive as a Break Pack Associate, you need strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to lift and move packages, typically supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and inventory tracking software is often required. Reliability, teamwork, and effective communication are valuable soft skills for excelling in this fast-paced environment. Physical stamina is also important, as the role typically involves standing, lifting, and moving items throughout the shift.

What is a break pack associate?

They ensure that items are accurately counted, sorted, repackaged, and prepared for shipping according to customer or store orders. This role often involves physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing inventory, as well as attention to detail to prevent errors.
