Delivery Driver – FedEx Ground Routes (Buffalo Area)

We know what it takes to grind out a Buffalo winter route, and we’ve built a company culture that respects the driver above all else.

We are a rapidly growing, premium FedEx Ground contractor looking for reliable, safety-focused drivers to join our team. If you are tired of being treated like a number and want to work for a fleet where management actually understands the daily delivery grind, we want you in our driver's seat.

  • Top-Tier Equipment: You will be driving a highly maintained, road-ready fleet consisting of Ford Transit 350 Cargo Vans, P1000 Step Vans, and Straight Box Trucks. We don’t tolerate breakdowns.
  • Local Routes Only: You will be running dedicated daily routes in the greater Buffalo area. No long-haul, no overnight stays, and absolutely no 18-wheelers. You sleep in your own bed every night.
  • Growth Opportunities: Because we are a scaling company, we strictly promote from within for Lead Driver, Trainer, and Management (BC) positions.

What You Will Do

  • Arrive at the local FedEx Ground terminal each morning to organize your load, sync your scanner, and inspect your assigned vehicle.
  • Safely execute daily delivery and pickup routes in high-density residential and commercial zones.
  • Handle a fast-paced physical workload, seamlessly managing Customer Pick-Ups (CPUs) and package drop-offs.
  • Conduct mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIRs) to ensure fleet safety.

Requirements (The Non-Negotiables)

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience: Previous commercial driving experience is a major plus, but NO CDL is required.
  • Clean Record: Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Clearances: Must pass First Advantage background check. Must be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT Medical Card and pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening (mandatory FedEx requirement).
  • Physical Ability: This is a physical job. You must be able to comfortably lift, load, and carry packages up to 150 lbs (with a provided hand truck) and get in and out of a truck consistently throughout the day.
  • Safety Mindset: Willingness to operate a vehicle equipped with dual-facing dash cameras (VEDR) and telematics to ensure everyone gets home safely.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Pay: $160.00 – $200.00+ per day (Based on experience, stop volume, and vehicle classification).
