Job Description

Bravo Fleet Logistics is hiring delivery drivers for FedEx Ground routes in the Buffalo area.

We are an independent service provider contracted with FedEx Ground. Drivers are employed directly by Bravo Fleet Logistics, not FedEx.

Our ownership and leadership team started as delivery drivers, so we understand the daily challenges of this job, including Buffalo weather, demanding routes, and the importance of dependable equipment and management support.

This position is a good fit for dependable, safety-focused people who enjoy working independently, staying active, and completing local delivery and pickup routes. No CDL is required, and paid training is provided.

Starting compensation is based on experience, route volume, assigned vehicle, and position responsibilities.

Vehicles

Drivers may operate:

* Ford Transit 350 cargo vans
* P1000 step vans
* Straight box trucks

Vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained to support safe and dependable daily operations.

Responsibilities

* Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle
* Arrive at the FedEx Ground terminal on time each morning
* Inspect the assigned vehicle before and after the route
* Organize and load packages
* Deliver packages to homes and businesses
* Complete scheduled customer pickups
* Follow assigned routes and daily delivery schedules
* Use GroundCloud navigation and mobile delivery equipment
* Keep accurate delivery and pickup records
* Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and management
* Keep the vehicle clean and report maintenance concerns
* Follow all company, FedEx, DOT, and safety requirements
* Work independently and make safe decisions in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

* Must be at least 21 years old
* Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
* Must have a valid driver’s license
* Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
* Must be able to pass a First Advantage background check
* Must pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening
* Must pass a DOT physical and qualify for a DOT Medical Card
* Must be comfortable operating a vehicle equipped with dual-facing cameras and telematics
* Must be able to repeatedly enter and exit the delivery vehicle
* Must be able to lift packages regularly and maneuver packages weighing up to 150 pounds using a hand truck, proper equipment, or assistance
* Must be comfortable working outdoors in rain, snow, heat, cold, and changing Buffalo weather
* Must have strong time-management and organizational skills
* Must be comfortable working independently
* Must be able to use GPS, mounted tablets, scanners, and mobile delivery applications
* Must be able to make safe decisions under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience with FedEx, Amazon, UPS, USPS, or another delivery company is preferred, but not required
* Commercial driving or package-delivery experience is a plus
* Familiarity with Buffalo-area roads and traffic patterns is helpful
