Job description

Purpose:

This position exists to assist in the development of marketing strategies for maintaining and strengthening specific brands while performing a variety of marketing related activities, including the oversight and management of these brands and marketing initiatives.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist in developing the vision for the brand’s marketing strategy.

  • Execute the brand’s marketing strategy by leading and providing direction to the creative and communications teams.

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide value added marketing initiatives.

  • Promote specified brands through social media, websites, external communications, events and other brand marketing strategies.

  • Develop advertising and literature, photography, videos, POP materials, sales materials and press releases/media relations for assigned brands.

  • Manage marketing activities related to product launches.

  • Assist sales team on dealer promotions.

  • Assist Events Manager in the coordination of brand centric events and other special products.


Required Experience / Knowledge:

  • Requires 3 to 5 years of related experience and BA/BS in marketing or related field.

  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with company personnel and outside agencies.

  • Requires the ability to develop and maintain highly collaborative cross-functional internal and external relationships.

  • Must possess good analytical and organizational skills.


Work Requirements:

  • This position may require sitting, standing, working in front of a computer monitor in an office setting approximately 90% of the day, and occasionally, working in a hot, humid outdoor environment.

  • Requires the ability to travel between field locations, as well as attend shows and events as necessary.

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds.

  • This position is a full-time position, which may require flexibility in hours and days worked (including nights and weekends).

  • Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
