This candidate will be responsible for the strategy and execution of our Licensing and Partnership, retaining and growing our customer base, driving brand awareness, and driving incremental revenue growth. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable within the licensing space, able to multitask, and be comfortable in fast-paced environments.
We're looking for a go-getter with a consultative approach, capable of guiding and influencing clients/brands to execute strategic partnerships leveraging CNET Group properties Brand Logos, Awardmarks, Content and Intellectual Property with measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate potential of licensing/media partnerships and business development
  • Act as a partner to the client/brand, guiding them through ideal scenarios to drive awareness, growth, and revenue
  • Retain named and growth account relationships, while fostering new business opportunities to ensure growth
  • Collaborate effectively with editorial, media, display, marketing, and affiliate teams, fostering a healthy work environment
  • Drive internal/external meetings on strategy and client relationships to achieve KPIs, targets, and goals
  • Maintain a full understanding of the client base and industry trends
  • Negotiate new and existing licensing contracts
  • Provide fresh insights to ensure constant effectiveness and work efficiency
  • Accurately forecast and maintain a thorough understanding of the sales pipeline
  • Create and communicate business plans to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets with a focus on sustained profitability

Job Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in product/brand licensing, business development, and negotiation
  • Strong knowledge of the licensing/media industry and its trends
  • Proven track record of identifying growth opportunities and creating new business
  • Proven track record for setting and exceeding sales goals
  • Experience with licensing consumer and business products
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Collaborative and emotionally intelligent mindset
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree preferred

Compensation Range:
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $95,000 to $118,000 base plus commission. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
