The Branch Manager is responsible for the operation of the branch, with full oversight of profitability and performance. This position provides leadership across business development, human resources, administration, automation, compliance, customer service, and day-to-day branch operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential functions may include, but are not limited to, the functions listed below:

  • Coach, train, and motivate branch team members to achieve the company and branch goals.
  • Lead the interviewing, selection, hiring, and onboarding process and maintain a strong succession plan.
  • Ensure the branch fleet is properly maintained, safe, and compliant with company and governmental standards.
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development for branch employees.
  • Recommend and administer appropriate disciplinary actions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Establish accountability throughout the branch by monitoring, tracking, and trending key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Travel to customer and client locations, job sites, and other locations as needed to address concerns and resolve customer complaints.
  • Oversee branch bids, estimates, proposals, and related processes to ensure accuracy and profitability.
  • Manage the branch's profit and loss (P&L) and operating budget, while identifying and resolving operational issues.
  • Partner with Business Development to identify and pursue new business opportunities based on market and industry trends.
  • Ensure all financial transactions, including billing, warranties, and credits, are processed accurately and within required deadlines.
  • Oversight of inventory management to include truck stock bi-annually.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and maintain a high level of professionalism while representing Commercial Kitchen Parts & Service with employees, customers, and vendors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An AA/AS Degree in a business related discipline or the equivalent in experience is preferred.
  • 7+ years work experience in a related service industry.
  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Driving record acceptable under auto liability insurance guidelines.
  • Background Check is acceptable by client standards to obtain access to various customer facilities.

  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resource planning, leadership development and coordination of people and resources.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and eager to assume ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and negotiate "win - win" solutions.
  • Ability to translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office 365 including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to synthesize information accurately and quickly highlight key insights.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks and decisions in a high-pressure environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Warehouse and office environment.
  • Extensive phone use.
  • Daily travel within local branch areas as well as occasional travel outside area.
  • 25% of the computer time includes keyboarding and mouse.
  • Lifting and transporting moderately heavy items as required.
