Job description

Job Summary:
The Break Press Team Lead Tech will ensure that the 1st-shift break press team meets production goals and the schedule. The Team Lead will also provide training, technical support, and ensure that safety and quality standards are maintained. The Team Lead will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC press brakes, laser cutters, and robotic welders. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  1. Function & Troubleshooting in SAP & WMS
  2. Pull Hot-List and Restock Orders
  3. Identify and Address quality issues
  4. Keying finished goods and put away in locations
  5. Enforce and monitor PPE and Safety guidelines

Requirements:
A team lead shall engage in open and consistent communication with all team members. This includes daily or weekly work center conversations where everyone can discuss current efficiencies, quality, give updates, and share any challenges they might be facing.
Specific Qualifications Include:
  1. Strong mechanical aptitude
  2. Ability to accurately use measuring instruments (calipers, square, micrometer, etc.)
  3. Ability to use hand and power tools (wrenches, screw drivers, etc.)
  4. Ability to lift 50lbs, frequently
  5. CNC equipment operation and manual welding experience preferred.
