Job description

Summary:

Set up, operate, or tend machines to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate stamping press
  • Follow packing instructions as directed
  • Inspect for quality of product as required and report any concerns to the supervisor
  • Communicate to supervisor any problems, issues, or concerns with press, feeders, die or auxiliary equipment
  • Handling & moving objects
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner with attention to quality. Ensure PPE requirements are adhered to at all times
  • Other job responsibilities not listed above, may be required from this position, and will be directed by the immediate supervisor
