34โ€“40 hours per week within business hours: Mondayโ€“Tuesday 8 AMโ€“6 PM, Wednesdayโ€“Thursday 8 AMโ€“4 PM, Friday 8 AMโ€“2 PM.

Location: Dermatology & Aesthetics Lakeview. 3245 N Halsted Ave. In the heart of Boystown, just blocks from the red line with easy bus access.

Position Overview

The Patient Services Representative is often the first and last point of contact a patient has with our practice, making this role an essential part of the overall patient experience and a direct reflection of our organization. In this position, you will balance in-person patient interactions, phone communication, and multiple software systems to provide a seamless, efficient, and welcoming experience throughout check-in, check-out, scheduling, and product purchases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet arriving patients, ensuring a welcoming and superior patient experience.
  • Adhere to patient confidentiality and records release policies.
  • Keep lobby and front reception area clean and organized.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments via phone and at check-out, following established scheduling guidelines.
  • Maintain the daily appointment schedule and notify staff and providers of any changes.
  • Obtain and verify insurance and other financial information prior to visits.
  • Answer incoming calls, addressing scheduling, billing, and general inquiries; route calls or messages to appropriate staff as needed.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate
  • (Preferred) Customer service experience in a medical setting, spa or medspa
