POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Studio Manager (SM) executes all sales, fitness, and operation functions within BoxUnion. The SM provides exceptional member experience, a team environment, and ensures the club’s financial success. The SM is responsible for end-to-end management and development – focusing on effective and efficient resourcing, scheduling, club amp; team performance, goal setting, and providing exceptional customer service; through upholding the company policies as the ultimate brand ambassador.
BRAND STANDARDS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Hit monthly revenue targets through membership enrollment and retention, as well as class package, private training, equipment, and retail sales
  • Foster and maintain an engaged, high-performing team that aligns with the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • Manage all end-to-end employment and development – through resourcing, scheduling, daily/weekly goals, and monthly/quarterly performance evaluations
  • Facilitate and supervise ongoing training(s) to ensure all employees are proficient in club sales, operations, fitness, and BoxUnion brand standards + policies
  • Meet and collaborate with Regional Leadership and Corporate - with ongoing communication to deliver E2E club sales funnel through prospect/lead generation, first-time visitors, marketing/events, and new membership units
  • Cultivate an evergreen source of energy and community-focused club culture that delivers high member satisfaction and achieves maximum profitability
  • Delegate, oversee and lead all club operations and member engagement
  • Monitor club appearance, including a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment
  • Execute and oversee employee interviewing, training, scheduling, and payroll upon start
  • Adhere to all operational policies and maintain responsibilities for compliance with State amp; Federal employment
  • Meet/exceed BoxUnion key performance indicators for club metrics – through daily, weekly, and monthly reports
SKILLS amp; QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3-5 years of prior management experience within health and fitness, luxury retail, or hospitality space
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Experience managing trend reports and/or demonstrated math analytical/ratio skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage clients (via call, text, email, and/or in-person) and team member concerns with approachable amp; welcoming energy
  • Fitness enthusiast and boxing experience preferred; however, not a ‘knock-out’ qualification
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • College degree strongly preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)
  • Flexible hours, with the ability to work early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends
  • Experience using ClubReady
COMPENSATION amp; PERKS:
  • $68,000-$75,000 base/salary, monthly commission, and monthly bonus incentives
