HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Sales Manager-Skip Hop will report to the VP of Sales and play a key role in supporting and growing several strategic accounts including Walmart U.S., Walmart Canada, BJ's, and new wholesale retail partners. This role is ideal for a highly analytical and motivated sales professional who is excited to help drive category growth.
The Sales Manager -Skip Hop will partner closely with cross-functional teams and retail buyers to support business strategy, identify growth opportunities, and ensure best-in-class execution of Skip Hop brand across both brick-and-mortar and ecommerce channels. This role offers strong exposure to senior leadership and major national retailers, and the opportunity to help shape the future of Skip Hop across multiple categories.
75% Account Management
  • Support the development and execution of the financial strategy for Skip Hop categories at Walmart and new wholesale retail partners.
  • Partner with the Account Planner to forecast and manage the annual business, identifying opportunities for incremental growth through ongoing sales analysis for Skip Hop.
  • Help lead preparation for annual line reviews, collaborating with cross-functional partners and the brand team to ensure the right assortment, pricing, and innovation are presented to drive distribution and space gains.
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners by demonstrating a clear understanding of customer objectives, category dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
  • Support the onboarding and development strategy for new retail accounts in partnership with the VP of Sales.
  • Own ecommerce merchandising for assigned accounts, making recommendations to optimize SEO, digital shelf presence, and brand positioning.
  • Analyze ecommerce performance and recommend biannual assortment updates based on sales trends and customer insights.

25% Account Support
  • Manage Skip Hop day-to-day account maintenance including order troubleshooting, operational follow-up, and chargeback research.
  • Support annual line review preparation, presentations, and in-store marketing requests for Skip Hop.
  • Oversee Skip Hop new item setup and onboarding for Walmart and new accounts.
  • Manage price matching and address MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) challenges across accounts.

Must have:
  • Strong financial acumen, highly analytical and a strong understanding of retail math.
  • Experience with a replenishment business model
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly data-driven with the ability to synthesize sales and performance data, translate insights into strategic recommendations, and identify opportunities to drive incremental growth.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written, verbal, and presentation abilities.

Preferred skills and experience:
  • 5+ years of successful wholesale or retail sales and or planning experience.
  • Experience working with Walmart or other large mass retailers, with an understanding of their merchandising processes and business model.
  • Compensation for this position ranges from $110,000-$120,000 a year based on experience.
