POSITION: Personal Trainer
LOCATION: Sherman Oaks + 1 other BU studio
POSITION OVERVIEW
Our personal trainers deliver top-notch training with a personable and high-energy approach. We demand the best from our staff and uphold the highest level of professionalism. We are looking for a personal trainer to join our team and work a minimum of 10-15 personal training sessions per week (30 or 60 minutes each) across a minimum of 2 out of our 3 BoxUnion locations.
BRAND STANDARDS amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and maintain an active client base
  • Seamlessly work with current members to sell personal training, retain members, and continuously sell to the current member base
  • Manage and maintain an accurate schedule, including client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems
  • Build and generate a strong fitness business through new client acquisition and retention
  • Work closely with management to schedule sessions
  • Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products
  • Attend and participate in any required one-on-one or team meetings with management
  • Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals, including appropriate exercise selections and varied fitness offerings
  • Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques to clients
  • Arrive on time, prepared, and enthusiastic for every training appointment and/or group session
  • Increase member group training sessions and attendance through strong teaching skills and the ability to connect with and motivate others with a wide variety of fitness levels
  • Report to the General Manager and interact with all levels of club staff
  • Extended workdays are frequent, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business
REQUIREMENTS
  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor's degree in the field
  • Boxing technique experience and ability to hold mitts
  • Eligible for higher-level opportunities based on experience and education
  • Passion, ambition, drive, and fitness knowledge
  • Ability to work in person during weekdays amp; weekends
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer and technology skills
  • Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
